Dr. Frank H. Leiva brings more than 46 years of experience in internal medicine, geriatric care, and healthcare leadership to Vitalia Medical Centers. His career has focused on caring for adults and older patients while advancing patient safety and the quality of medical care.

Dr. Leiva earned his medical degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and completed his internship and residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He has served the Central Florida community since 1978.

Throughout his career, Dr. Leiva has held leadership roles at Sand Lake Hospital and Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, including Chairman of the Department of Medicine and leadership positions in quality improvement and collaborative practice. His work has included improving patient communication, coordinating care, and developing clinical processes to support safer treatment.

As Medical Director of Vitalia Medical Centers, Dr. Leiva brings extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to personalized care, clear communication, and the well-being of every patient.
